Top choice for a budget traveller looking for accommodation in Delhi

hotels in New Delhi
Delhi is a vast, teeming megalopolis. It’s the capital of the world’s largest democracy, India, and one of the most historical cities on earth. Old Delhi is a warren of bazaars, New Delhi is a planned city on a grand scale, and suburbs like Gurgaon and Noida sprawl in every direction. Delhi is a city that is daunting to most visitors, and for good reason: it’s huge, traffic-clogged, noisy, polluted and one of the most interesting and exciting cities you will ever visit.

Love it or hate it, Delhi is where many visitors to India land. Accommodation in Delhi is really not that big of an issue; however it is difficult to find decent budget hotels in New Delhi which provides proper services and amenities. As a traveller with a tight pocket, my pursuit for a decent budget hotel landed me in Hotel Delhi City centre. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind place, in a superb location; Paharganj. This hotel has 35 well furnished with all modern amenities for a discerning traveller and these rooms are definitely more than your average room, in terms of budget, location and service. It is also a very well facilitated hotel with two amazing restaurants, Café Vagabond and City View Rooftop Lounge. Café Vagabond is a very popular choice among the guests and is known for its Mughlai cuisine. Other than these offerings, the facilities included a business centre; packaged tours, laundry service, and airport pick and drop services amongst others.

To say the very least, I was impressed!
